But the island has a secret just below the surface: a wild, colorful world below the water that is just ready to be discovered. Lanzarote is a great place to dive, whether it&#8217;s your first time or your hundredth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conditions for Diving All Year Ideal Water Temperatures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The water is between 18\u00b0C in the winter and 24\u00b0C in the summer, so you can dive any month of the year without getting too cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Clear-as-glass visibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Between 20 and 30 meters is the normal depth of vision underwater. Technical divers can go to places that offer Nitrox, Trimix, and deeper dives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&nbsp;Best Sites for Diving in Lanzarote&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Playa Chica, near Puerto del Carmen, is the best place on the island to dive from the beach or in a boat. You can swim in Blue Hole, La Catedral, and other places. The depths run from 10 to 40 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Museo Atl\u00e1ntico \u2013 Playa Blanca is Europe&#8217;s first underwater museum. It is 12 meters deep and has more than 300 statues. A mix of art and caring for the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charco del Palo: It&#8217;s quiet and out of the way. Perfect for dives who want to find peace, volcanic features, and uncharted underwater terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marine Reserve of La Graciosa and Chinijo: A dream for divers. Black corals, groups of fish, caves, and untouched volcanic bottoms can be seen from Caleta de Sebo by boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puerto del Carmen and Punta Ti\u00f1osa Wrecks: Explore several ships that have sunk between 20 and 40 meters, where moray eels, nudibranchs, and barracudas live. They rent out gear, teach people how to use it, lead daily dives, and offer technical help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Unique Sea Life: Where the Atlantic and the Tropics Meet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Groupers, trumpetfish, parrotfish, angel sharks, rays, turtles, barracuda swarms, and black coral are just some of the species that live in Lanzarote because of its unique location.
